GCI has played a key role in the planning of these busway projects in Brisbane. When built, these projects will give buses a congestion-free run through Brisbane’s busiest eastern and northern road corridors.

• Undertook the alignment pre-feasibility and Review of Environmental Factors
• Managed of the Terms of Reference process
• Oversaw the Concept Design and Impact Management Plan preparation
• Integrated land use and transport planning
• Led busway planning, including alignment selection and impact assessment
• Prepared Cabinet submissions and coordinated the Eastern Busway business case
• The GCI team is currently involved in the procurement and delivery phases of these projects, as well as planning for the next stage of the Northern Busway from Kedron to Bracken Ridge
